• Visitors staying with residents must register at a police station.

• In order to "maintain public hygiene", no sleeping outdoors.

• Olympic ticket ≠ visa, because "according to the principle of international law, any sovereignty state has the right of making a decision whether it allow aliens enter or exit its frontier, and has the right of issuing the visa, declining visa application, or declaring the canceling of the issued visa according to its own law."

• No display of political or religious banners at events.

• Do not burn or damage the Chinese flag or any other national emblems.

• Do not bring in any "dangerous bacteria".

• No terrorists, please, or anyone with "mental diseases."

• Tibet? Totally off-limits.
