2330hrs..
i think bangkok is the place for cheap and imitation goods while KL is the place for cheap and genuine stuff. ha spoken like a true singaporean.
this is like the delayed post cos i just got my pictures uploaded.
but anyway, it sure was an adventurous trip.
firstly we took a train.haha actually the ride was not as bad as many people made it out to be.maybe cos we took the first class cabin so there was considerably reasonable leg space. most of the 7hour ride was spent with me taking random pictures like this

and

and the rest of the time was spent with

when we finally arrived at the KL station aka Sentral KL i got quite a bad shock cos the place looked morbidly familiar. deja vu. and that dream i had of e place was an absolute nightmare.it was scary.

then we had to find our way to the hotel.and kit has this thing about trying to blend in with the natives. haha but im sure we looked really at home with the amount of luggage in tow.

we waited to be checked in at the lounge which reminded me of the lonely singer at the bangkok hotel who sings to an empty lounge every night.haha

this was the view from our room window.its berjaya times square on the opp. which is 10 storeys high and holds a 5 storey roller coaster in its indoor theme park. it also claim to have the biggest food court which has areas closed for usage cos its too big.i think the food is quite good.

cole slaw's other name is Russian salad.

the place is really big.so it had all sorts of shops ALL over the place.and lots of open space in the mall itself.

speaking of which, the bridge which links the mall to the monorail to our hotel's side is seriously a joke.to get from the mall to the hotel, we have to walk down a flight of stairs, up one more and down another.

and there was an overhead bridge IN one of the monorail stations.not that the station was big or anything. its a monorail not a train station. it was quite amusing.

kit and i went to watch this haunted castle 3D "show". cos it doesnt really have a plot.in which the monster of the castle was defeated by opera.gigantic aviators and small eyes.haha

some more random pictures on our way to the Petronas.when we got stuck at a 7-11 cos of the heavy rain, which produced quite a number of goldfishes in some shoes.

see theres a heart shape on the m'sian flag? m'sians love their country so much they show it even when they vandalise public property.

and theres the twin towers.they are so tall they go into the clouds.just like this other tower of which i cant remember the name.

its like now u see it now u dont.

there was also the journey up to Genting. and the exhilarating ride down this crazy ride. it is definitely not for the faint-hearted.
thats kit and i on the ride with the clouds/fog below us. it was really cold and the G-force was totally mind-blowing.

and thats us on another ride.taken before it started.this one is like the loose version of the merry-go-round. also very cold.there was also Ripley's and nice cars.

and of course a time crisis pro who made the trip oh so lovely.

we had such a great time.this the second adventure.indeed a blessing in disguise huh?=)
