2105hrs..
its october...
im growing old.
but i guess its ok. i dont mind being twenty.
some peepur are so weird.
Caltex NKC is like over now. most of us survived on like less than 3 hours of sleep for that 3 days. not tt im complaining. i know there are like others out there who prob didnt even sleep, and when they do, they dreamt of the event. haha
This was after a whole night of work, taken on Fri morning at about 6 plus. We didnt even realise the banner was upside down till we were done with it.Im seriously still quite amazed how we managed to pull the whole thing off. after almost a year of planning and practically overnight meetings, seeing the whole event happen without much screw ups was indeed rather surreal.
From the industry people whom i'd met and learnt so much from, to dealing with annoying and kiasu/kiasi/"i-love-to complain-and-make-a-scene" singaporeans; it was in all a good learning experience. At times, i surprise myself.Last night we went for crab party at Melben crabs. I shelled the crabs MYSELF for the very first time. Imagine spending 500 bucks at a coffeeshop. Crabs sell really well. they were really good. Then again, maybe because i was really hungry. I was quite sure i could smell the food when our car went pass the coffeeshop, but everyone else in the car thought i was hallucinating.
There was this really funny thing that happened. Halfway through dinner, there was a loud whistle, and almost half the diners stood up and ran to the carpark. hahaha the Fatimahs were spotted. When our drivers realised what was happening they all too ran to their cars. it was hilarious. It was like auto conditioning.anyway, i think everyone should check out the new exhibits at the tunnel that links citylink to esplanade. It is now a whole row of children's artwork. and they are REALLY really colourful and happy looking. furthermore, im quite sure the kids had fun doing the exhibits. I mean which kid wont be happy if you allow her to colour, draw and paint on the walls. i would be overjoyed la.they even used crocs to create figurines. these figurines are possibly the best any croc can ever look man. the oldest kid in this exhibition is only 11. btw, the above picture was painted by a 5 year old.If only my school made us do something like this for art classes last time.
Guys, guess what. we are on some IJ 150 anniversary book. haha and what are the chances of it man. we will go down in history together! haha
click for a closer look. especially the third picture.
